A: BENT BOW HAS A CURVED ROOF LINE ON THE LENGTH SIDE. AN A-FRAME ROOF HAS AN EXTENDED EAVE SIDE. YOU CAN ALSO ELECT TO HAVE A VERTICAL ROOF ON THE A-FRAME WITH THE RIBS OF THE SHEETING RUNNING FROM THE PEAK TO THE EAVE. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE VERTICAL ROOF IN AREAS WHERE THERE IS SIGNIFICANT SNOW FALL.

Q: WHAT IS THE DIFFERNCE BETWEEN A STANDARD AND CERTIFIED BUILDING?
A: A STANDARD BUILDING DOES NOT MEET ANY SPECIFIED WIND GUST RATING OR SNOW LOAD. A CERTIFIED BUILDING MEETS 130 MPH 3 SECOND WIND GUST RATING AND 30 LB PSF GROUND SNOW LOAD. HIGHER SNOW LOADS ARE AVAILABLE. PLEASE CALL US FOR ASSISTANCE WITH HIGHER SNOW LOAD QUOTES.

A: YES, THE VERTICAL ROOF IS AN OPTION FOR THE A-FRAME ONLY.

A: 10' WIDE AND 10' TALL. WE WILL FRAMEOUT THE REQUIRED OPENING SHOULD YOU ELECT TO PURCHASE A LARGER COMMERCIAL DOOR LOCALLY.

Q: IS THERE A CHARGE FOR SHEETING COLORS?
A: NO, WE HAVE 13 COLORS TO CHOOSE FROM. YOU MAY USE AS MANY COLORS AS YOU LIKE ON YOUR BUILDING.

Q: HOW TALL DO I NEED MY BUILDING FOR A ROLL UP GARAGE DOOR?
A: BENT BOW STYLE: YOU WILL NEED THE LEG HEIGHT TO EQUAL THE DOOR HEIGHT.
A-FRAME STYLE: YOU WILL NEED THE LEG HEIGHT TO BE ONE FOOT TALLER THAN THE DOOR HEIGHT.
THE WIDTH OF THE BUILDING CAN ALSO BE A FACTOR. PLEASE CALL OUR SALES OFFICE FOR FURTHER ASSISTANCE.

Q: WHAT ARE THE ANCHORING OPTIONS?
A: ON STANDARD BUILDINGS WE USE 30" REBAR. ON CERTIFIED BUILDINGS WE USE EITHER HELICAL (HURRICANE) ANCHORS IN ADDTION TO THE REBAR FOR INSTALLATION ON THE GROUND. FOR INSTALLS ON CONCRETE WE DRILL THE CONCRETE AND USE RED HEAD ANCHOR BOLTS.

Q: WHAT IS THE TURN AROUND TIME FOR INSTALLATION ONCE I HAVE MADE MY DEPOSIT?
A: TYPICALLY 3-5 WEEKS.

Q: WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM LENGTH OF YOUR BUILDINGS?
A: AS LONG AS YOUR LAND IS LEVEL THERE IS NO MAXIMUM.

Q: WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM WIDTH OF YOUR BUILDINGS?
A: WE CAN DO THE BENT BOW STYLE UP TO 40 FEET WIDE OPEN SPAN. THE A-FRAME UP TO 30 WIDE OPEN SPAN. FOR BUILDINGS WIDER PLEASE SEE OUR BARN DESIGNS.

Q: WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A VERTICAL ROOF AND A STANDARD ROOF?
A: THE RIBS OF THE SHEETING RUN FROM THE FRONT OF THE BUILDING TO THE BACK. ON A VERTICAL ROOF THE RIBS OF THE SHEETING RUN FROM THE PEAK TO THE EAVE. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE VERTICAL ROOF FOR APPEARANCE AND FUNCTIONALITY ESPECIALLY WHERE THERE IS A HIGHER SNOW LOAD REQUIREMENT.

Q: DO YOU ADD ON TO EXISTING BUILDINGS?
A: YES, WE WILL ADD SIDES, ENDS AND DOOR/WINDOW OPTIONS TO BUILDINGS WE INSTALLED. WE DO NOT ADD ADDTIONAL LENGTH.

Q: WHAT IS THE SIZE OF A DOUBLE CARPORT?
A: 18 WIDE AND WIDER

Q: WILL YOU ATTACH TO AN EXISTING BUILDING?
A: NO. OUR LIABILITY INSURANCE DOES NOT COVER ATTACHING TO EXISTING STRUCTURES. WE WILL INSTALL AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE.

Q: HOW CLOSE DO YOU NEED TO GET TO THE JOB SITE?
A: WE NEED TO BE ABLE TO PULL A PICK UP TRUCK AND TRAILER WITHIN 30' OF THE SITE.

Q: HOW MUCH ROOM AROUND THE BUILDING DO YOU NEED?
A: WE NEED 3' OF ROOM ON ALL SIDES OF THE BUILDING FREE FROM DEBRIS AND OBSTRUCTIONS.

Q: DO YOU INSTALL OVER TOP OF EXISTING STRUCTURES (i.e. campers, trailers etc.).
A: YES, THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL CONTRACTOR CHARGE. PLEASE CALL US FOR FURTHER ASSISTANCE.

Q: CAN I PURCHASE A UNIT WITH THE SIDE WALLS TALLER THAN 12 FEET?

Q: WHAT MAINTENANCE IS REQUIRED ON YOUR BUILDNGS?
A: VERY LITTLE MAINTENANCE IS REQUIRED. WE SUGGEST YOU KEEP THE PAINTED SHEETING CLEAN AND FREE FROM BUILD UP. YOU SHOULD THOROUGHLY CHECK THE SCREWS ANNUALLY TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE SECURE. ANY SCRATCHES SHOULD BE TOUCHED UP WITH PAINT OR A LIGHT WEIGHT OIL.

A: YES, ON CERTIFIED BUILDINGS ONLY WE OFFER A 20YR LIMITED RUST THROUGH WARRANTY ON THE BUILDING FRAMING.
